Hello! I’ll be starting work soon as a first year associate in a pretty formal work environment. I want to buy a pair of heels that don’t scream “I just splurged on a pair of heels for this new job” (though I am willing to splurge somewhat) but I also don’t want to buy heels that make my feet cry every step I make.
I saw a similar thread for 2018, but I’ve noticed more open toe heels, thicker heels like block heels, and more pastel colored shoes this time around. With the trend changing, what do you think is comfortable and appropriate for work?
Edit: thank you so much to everyone who has commented on this post!! There are so many shoes I can totally agree with and so many I’d like to try on in the future. Just as a personal update… I ended up getting the Fontaine Pump in black suede while they were 50% off!! They are SO comfortable and so cute! Very excited to be wearing them everyday!
