Annual PhD course in Energy System Analysis on the EnergyPLAN model – April-May 2023
Again in the spring of 2023, Aalborg University, Denmark, hosts its annual EnergyPLAN PhD course. The course gives an introduction to advanced energy system analysis using the EnergyPLAN computer model and after the course the participants are expected to be able to understand methodologies of advanced energy system analysis and to be able to use EnergyPLAN as a tool in making energy system analyses.
The course consists of lectures in Aalborg and an online part, taking place on 24-27 April 2023 (Aalborg) and on 2, 9 and 11 May 2023 (online). It is a combination of lectures and computer workshops of a total duration of 40 hours and assignments of a total of 52 hours and has a workload of 5 ECTS. Once you have completed the course, you will receive a course certificate. See invitation and programme for the EnergyPLAN course 2023.
To attend the course, you need to register and pay here. Registration is open from 1 February to 3 April 2023. Registration is binding and payment must be made by credit card.
For accommodation in Aalborg, you may contact one of these three hotels, which are all located in a very short walking distance from the course venue:
- Cabinn Hotel Aalborg, from approx. 500 DKK per night
- Pier 5 Hotel, from approx. 1000 DKK per night
- Kompas Hotel Aalborg, from approx. 1000 DKK per night
